In the fall of 2015, I attended Savannah College of Art and Design. I graduated from Emmanuel College in the centennial year of 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. I have had the pleasure of working with The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta at Camp Kiwanis.
The Camp gave me the opportunity to do my internship as both their Graphic Designer and Media Specialist. Design to me is all about connections. What does an image or a piece of text invoke?
I am skilled in Illustration and Design. I work with many Adobe programs like Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Attention to detail is one of my best skills. I place most of my focus on the emotional appeal of my designs. My strong suit is communicating meaning through my work. I use my designs as a means to define the character of a person or business.
I'm crazy about being creative. While drawing has been my long lasting love, storytelling is another. My dream as a child was to be an Illustrator. In film, I have always admired creative directors like Tim Burton and Del Torro for their talent in communicating messages in their stories through beautifully designed atmospheres. Among many of my favorite Illustrators is Margret Hodges. I love her water color and hand drawn style in storytelling.
